How is the Association Made Up?

Members:
All members belong to a club.

Clubs:
All Clubs nominate two council delegates to attend Council. There are four Council meetings per year where representatives are informed of events by the following committees and approve of how the Association is being managed.

Council:
Council is the governing body of LABBS.

Convention Team:
A small team who select venues for Convention and Prelims and organise the event with help from LABBS members, Club at Large, prospective members and helpers. The chairman of this team represents them on the Exectutive Committee.

Education & Judging Committee:
This committee is responsible for encouraging the growth and training of category judges and around the clubs coaching, as well as most aspects relating to Education and Judging. The E&J Chairman represents that committee on the Executive.

Executive:
Is responsible for the daily administration of the Association, including finance matters, membership and public relations as well as general administration.

Chairman:
Chairs the Council and Executive meetings. She also represents the Executive at E & J and Convention meetings. She represents the Association at meetings and conventions at home and abroad, and also represents the Executive at club events. All committees, teams and members support the Chairman.
